A firm or individual that conducts financial services in, or from, the QFC must be authorised by the QFC Regulatory Authority.

We only regulate firms operating within, or from, the QFC. 

Specifically, our regulatory jurisdiction extends to 

• Corporate banks
• Investment banks
• Investment managers
• Advisory firms
• Insurers
• Insurance intermediaries

Qatar’s regulatory framework defines the regulatory jurisdictions of the Qatar Central Bank, the Qatar Financial Markets Authority, and the QFC Regulatory Authority.
