The Financial Analysis and Innovation (FAI) department is the central hub for data analysis, digitalisation, and analytics innovation within the Supervision and Authorisation division. Tasked with maintaining the division’s core analytical platforms, tools and associated data pipelines and processes, the FAI team supports supervisory teams in their utilisation and development. This includes delving into machine learning and augmented intelligence (AI) to develop strategies and outline a progressive path for integrating AI into supervisory practices (SupTech). The department also conducts ongoing research and experimentation with new supervisory techniques in analytics, ensuring alignment with the division’s long-term vision for AI-supported supervision.
