The Professional Apprenticeship programme is a six-month training aimed at attracting high-aptitude novice professionals within the financial sector who have significant potential to contribute to the long-term operational success of the QFCRA.

The programme allows the Professional Apprentice to gain hands-on experience and build upon their knowledge and skills in a real-life setting. The Apprentice is assigned directly under the supervision of an in-house expert related to the profession of the Apprentice. The programme will allow the Apprentice to work with experts, understand the career path of their chosen profession and enhance their learning by applying the theories and knowledge into practice at the QFCRA.

As distinguished from the QFCRA’s Internship programme, the Professional Apprenticeship programme targets individuals who have recently completed or are nearing completion of an advanced specialised area of study such as a Master’s to PhD, advanced professional qualification such as CPA, CFA, and admission to the rolls as a barrister/lawyer/solicitor.

Who can apply?

• Candidates with Master’s, PhD, and advanced qualifications (CPA, CFA, or admission to the rolls as a barrister/lawyer/solicitor, etc.) with relevant professional experience.
• Nationals and non-nationals with valid residency in the State of Qatar.
• Candidates with excellent verbal and written English.
• Candidates who are currently unemployed.
