3. Assets under management
The total assets under management (“AUM”) amounted to
QAR 61.2 billion as of year-end 2020, a noticeable increase
from QAR 30.4 billion in the prior year. Discretionary
portfolio management in the QFC remained the dominant
category and contributed most to total AUM growth.
Discretionary portfolio management outside the QFC
remained insignificant in 2020. The volume of funds under
management largely remained stable during 2020.
