Fatma Abdulrahman Al Meer

Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer

Mrs Al Meer began her career in finance in January 2010

as an Associate at the QFCRA. In 2014, Mrs Al Meer was

appointed Head of Finance, responsible for budget control,
management analysis and procurement, and serving as the

QFCRA’s key liaison with the Ministry of Finance and the

Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social
Affairs. In 2018, she was appointed Chief Financial Officer

and in 2021, she took on the additional responsibility of

Chief Operating Officer, managing the Finance, Information

Technology, Human Resources, Administration and

Strategy and Organisational Development departments.

Mrs Al Meer is a graduate of Leeds University in the UK

with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance.
She is currently pursuing professional qualifications in

Accounting from the Chartered Institute of Management

Accountants (CIMA), having obtained a CIMA Certificate of

Business Accounting and a CIMA Diploma in Management

Accounting. In 2014, Mrs Al Meer received the highest
marks in Qatar on her CIMA – Operational Level exam.
