Policy, Legal and

Enforcement

In January 2021, the division was restructured and the Office of General Counsel,

Policy and Enforcement functions were merged into a new division: Policy, Legal
and Enforcement (PLE). The reorganisation allowed a better leverage of synergies

between these functions and skills and enabled the QFCRA to offer a more diverse

set of opportunities and experiences to the talent within the functions.

The division includes the following five departments: Policy, Legislative Counsel,

Legal, International Co-operation and Enforcement. PLE also undertakes the

administrative functions for the Customer Dispute Resolution Scheme (CDRS) and

Protected Reporting (Whistleblowing).
