Policy and Legislative Counsel
Regulatory policy initiatives
A key focus of work for the Policy and Legislative
Counsel department in 2021 was to develop and consult
on updated rules for professional investor funds and to
further strengthen the prudential framework with the
development and consultation on updated and new rules
on the credit risk and counterparty credit risk framework
requirements for authorised firms.
The departments also finalised rules for a package
of repeal and consequential amendments to
various rulebooks.
