Whistleblowing (WB) - Key Statistics for 2023
The QFCRA’s whistleblowing framework outlines
appropriate mechanisms for making confidential
reports about alleged wrongdoing by QFC authorised
firms or persons connected with these firms.
These anonymous reporting mechanisms provide
confidentiality, anonymity, and protection for persons
making reports, and help foster a climate whereby
employees are more likely to report or seek guidance
regarding potential or actual wrongdoing without fear
of retaliation by their employer, such as immediate
termination, serious health or safety concern.
