In 2022, the Administration (Corporate Communications, Translation,
Operations), Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology
and Strategy and Organisational Development departments continued
their journey on a Corporate Services strategy closely linked to the
shared strategy of the three financial regulators.
For Corporate Services, the primary goals of the division are
nationalisation, innovation in cloud-based technology and developing
human capital. The division’s efforts were fuelled by the adoption of
international best practices and providing services to the core
business functions.
Building human capital
The QFCRA has a robust, multi-path approach to developing its
staff and building awareness of the financial sector in Qatar.
New competency framework
—
In 2022, the Human Resources department worked closely
with the core and support functions of the QFCRA to develop
and launch a new and comprehensive competency framework.
Benchmarked with international best practices in HR, the tailor-
made competency framework provides a guide for employees
and management to recognise the technical skills and
behaviours required for each role. The framework also proves
as a tool to map employee progress throughout varying stages
of their careers and is linked to the QFCRA’s promotion policy.
