                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             The internship model has successfully embedded
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             itself in the culture of the QFCRA. In 2023, 28 interns

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             participated in learning and development, work

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             experience, and information sharing opportunities.


                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Students in high school and university benefitted from

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             internships at the QFCRA, learning about core business

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             activities ranging from bank supervision and data analytics,

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             to drafting legislation and the basics of finance.


                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             These internships were supported by the Al Masar programme,

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             designed to provide opportunities to high-performing

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             university and post-graduate students to work in a professional

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             environment while they are still working on their degrees.
