Building a wealth of knowledge internally

Programme on International

Financial Systems (PIFS)

In line with the Al Masar goal to develop employees’
career through best-in-class professional training,

the QFCRA collaborated with Harvard Law School

Executive Education to deliver training programmes
for financial regulators.

PIFS is an intensive eight-week programme for Qatari

nationals offering participants in-depth training in

international financial markets, corporate finance,
and financial market regulation.

Delivered by leading experts from the financial services
sector and academia, including Harvard Law School

and Columbia Law School, the inaugural programme

was fully subscribed with around 40 participants from

the QCB, QFMA, Qatar Stock Exchange, Qatar Financial

Centre Authority, Qatar Central Securities Depository
and Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority.

In-house training sessions

In 2021, the QFCRA held three in-house trainings

and three technical sessions to educate employees
on topics ranging from strengthening soft skills to

divisional methodologies.
