Innovation and improvement
New Public Registers
A collaboration between the Information Technology
(IT) and Supervision & Authorisation, the improved
QFCRA Online Public Registers launched in May 2021.
The registers developed throughout Q1 and Q2 of 2021
features a new look, enhanced functionality, and a mobile
interface designed for a better user experience.
Leveraging virtualisation during the pandemic
The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly prompted the
adoption of virtual technology at the QFCRA. Through the
emerging technology, the QFCRA established a high-end
virtual video conferencing system and implemented virtual
QFCRA business cards for its employees.
With Qatar’s controlled phased lifting of COVID-19 restrictions,
the QFCRA turned to Microsoft Teams as a solution to facilitate
communal events. In 2021, the Ramadan Teams App was
launched to celebrate the holy month in line with the State’s
health protocols and social restrictions.
