Astana International Financial

Centre (AIFC) and Astana Financial
Services Authority (AFSA)

In March 2022, the QFCRA received a delegation

from the AIFC and AFSA, led by HE Dr. Kairat

Kelimbetov, Governor, AIFC. The meeting focused
on the continued strong collaborative relationship

between the QFCRA and the AIFC and potential

areas of cooperation. The parties also exchanged

best practices in areas of mutual interest.

National Bank of Rwanda

In October 2022, a virtual meeting was held between
the Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Rwanda,

Mrs Soraya M. Hakuziyaremya, and Mr Michael Ryan,

CEO of QFCRA to explore ways to strengthen cooperation
and engagement between the two institutions.

A Memorandum of Understanding was also discussed

as a mechanism to develop a constructive and

cooperative relationship.
